Polaroid Dust and Scratch Removal is a small yet powerful image editing application. This program is very helpful in removal of dust and defects from image files. The program has a variety of integrated tools such as the selection tool, and the manual dust and scratch marking tool which are very helpful in cleaning and enhancing the images. A feature worth noticing is the live preview option. This option allows you to watch the effects on the image as you apply different controls to an image file. Some of the useful options available in this application include automatic defect location, selection of a region for dust location and marking of specific spots containing dust. The main advantage of using the Polaroid Dust and Scratch Removal is that it has a very intuitive interface. Its users can also make use of various keyboard shortcuts to perform specific tasks. The program is compatible with almost all the commonly used Windows versions, such as Windows 98, 2000, NT, Me and XP. Moreover, it's free. |
